The nature house is located in the outskirts of Colmenar, near the white villages of Alfarnate and Alfarnatejo. It is at an altitude of almost 1000 meters in the Sierra del Jobo. Accessibility is excellent, right on a quiet main road. Through the outside stairs you reach the entrance to the casita. It is also possible to walk down a path through the private entrance gate to reach the entrance of the casita. The stylishly furnished casita has a sitting area, a queen-size bed, a kitchenette, a walk-in shower and toilet. Sala Tres has a large terrace with dining area and lounge chairs. Bath, bed and kitchen linens are included. Meals can be provided at an additional cost. The wood stove provides excellent heating during the colder winter months. Guests have use of the swimming pool with fine sun beds. The surroundings are breathtaking. It is also called the Pyrenees of the South. Many hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity.

The land around the cortijo has recently been planted with olive and fruit trees. Furthermore, it will keep its rugged character as much as possible. There are several terraces where it is good to stay. Given the nature of the land we find Rancho Verde only suitable for children over 12 years. The surroundings are beautiful. Many hiking trails and the views are phenomenal. Authentic white villages, good access to highways, ideally located for making trips to the famous cities of Andalusia.
