Farms Austria
Austria, one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe, attracts tourists throughout the year. Winter in the beautiful mountain regions of the country is almost as busy as summer, and it is known as one of the best skiing in Europe. Tourists are attracted to the province of the Alpine Republic just as magnificent towns such as Vienna, the historical capital of Salzburg, and the beautiful city of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were born.
Austria, founded in the middle of Europe, has always focused on turbulent historical events and aristocratic intrigues. It is also integrated into the Alpine mountains and boasts a wealth of picturesque places of spectacular nature. With this list of Austria's leading tourist attractions, you can find the best places to see and do and some of the best farms in Austria to enjoy your time. Don't forget to visit our farms and many more sites in Salzburg, Radenthein, Marau. To see the full descriptions of our Austrian farms, please switch to the destination tab.
Nature of Austria awaits you
Austria is one of the most forested nations in Europe and forests cover 44% of its area. Up to 1,200 m (4,000 ft), the mountains are covered in feeds (mainly beech, birch, and oak) and coniferous trees (fir), with fir followed by lark and stone pine. There is a wide variety of wildlife. While the mountains were extinct, deer, hare, fox, badger, marten, alpine chough, grouse, marmot, partridge, and pheasant were still plentiful. Purple heron, spoonbill, and avocet are among the birds sometimes seen here.
Plenty to do outdoors, Austria
In this mountain range are several famous ski resorts. It is called a skiing cradle in the Alps because Haxfnnes Schneider opened a ski school that revolutionized skiing techniques. In addition, the first cable car was installed in winter in St. Anton, one of the five Arlberg villages in the ski resort.
The Zillertal Valley is a striking area with several lakes in Tyrol. Schlegeis and four others are artificial lakes surrounded by mountains, forming a stunning landscape. Climbing and walking are the most common activities in this great environment. The serene village is located on the banks of Lake Hallstätter with a very long history, which dates back to thousands of years. In winter, skiers and snowboarders come to the village and enjoy the snow and mountains. The salt mine and its tower give a pleasant day trip for the families from which you can enjoy a magnificent panorama. The picturesque village has many activities throughout the year: from winter sports to walking, biking, boating, and summer swimming on the lake. The highest point in the country is part of the Alpine region and rises to 3,798 m above sea level (12,461 ft). The only interesting feature is the pyramid-shaped peak itself, consisting of two pinnacles. Surprisingly, this is not a rugged mountain: although some experience is necessary for adventure enthusiasts. Most of our farms in Austria are also located nearby, and if you are planning to stay a little longer, then we are at your service, and we ensure the best quality residence.
