If you, like us, cannot stop admiring the work and dedication of Dutch engineers in their battle with the sea, then definitely listen to Waterloopbos. This is a former test location for scaled down hydraulic projects. During the 1950s and 1960s most of the technology to be installed in the Dutch sea inlets and bays was tested here. Today you may wander through these woods and admire the outdated technology which has been largely reclaimed by the nature around it.
