B&B Umbria
The region of Umbria is located in the central part of Italy, and it is definitely an area which is going to fascinate you in many different aspects. The Umbria region has gained worldwide fame for its festivals – if you enjoy jazz, then you can add one more thing to the list of reasons to visit Umbria. Of course, some of you might prefer to spend their vacation in peace and quiet – and this is perfectly understandable. Given the fact that tourists tend to prefer other parts of Italy, you can very well enjoy some tranquillity here.
If you are already wondering where to stay on your holiday, then we can definitely help as we have gathered a number of incredible B&B accommodations. If you have never been to a bed-and-breakfast before, Umbria is the perfect location for you to try. B&B’s just give you an amazing sense of home, no matter where you are. The interaction with the accommodation owners has the power to make your whole trip unforgettable!
What to see
There are several things which you cannot afford to miss, one of them being the so-called Marmore Waterfalls. This waterfall – which by the way is 165 meters high – is not natural, but it does not try to hide it. In fact, we find nothing wrong with it being created by humans – its sheer beauty still can leave you in awe. One thing you have to take into consideration is that you need to plan in advance before visiting – the waterflow can be controlled and it is released only at certain times during the day. However, once this happens, you are in for a surprise – the sight of water penetrating through lush vegetation can hardly be any more spectacular.
If you are a mountain lover, then we have something for you – the Monti Sibillini National Park. Its breath-taking peaks are all but low – actually, the tallest one reaches 2,476 meters! The whole destination hides astonishing natural jewels, and you can be sure that looking for them is very rewarding. One of our favourite spots is called the Ussita Torrent – a small water stream which can easily be overlooked. Nevertheless, it offers some truly special views!
What to do
Do you feel adventurous? This region provides wonderful opportunities if you want to get your blood pumping. How about some rafting? Of course, while it is true that it can be very physically demanding, be sure that every effort is worth it. At the end of the day, it is all about the victorious feeling of having successfully conquered the Umbrian waters.
If you already have had enough water on your B&B vacation, why don’t you try some rock climbing? In case you are a devoted and skilful climber, then you can set aside a day or two and engage in your favourite pastime. No matter which activity you go for, two things are certain – you are going to additionally explore the Umbrian region, and you are going to sleep like a baby afterwards.
