Roosdaal is also called the gate of the Pajottenland, a soft-glowing landscape just 20 kilometers southwest of Brussels. Roosdaal is rich in beautiful nature and valuable heritage. All this can be discovered in different ways. You can explore the most beautiful places along footpaths. There are a number of walks that are part of the regional hiking network 'Dender-Lombeek'. Of course you can also explore the surroundings by bike. For mountain lovers there is the mountain bike trail called the "Schakel", which provides 43 kilometers of cycling pleasure along quiet paths and along the most beautiful pieces of nature. From June to August there are boat trips on the Dender.
