Lovely. cozy nature house with panoramic views. From the cottage you can walk straight into the forest. In the ecological garden of over one hectare are many cozy seating areas. On the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen with dining and sitting area, a bedroom with double bed (box spring), a bathroom with walk-in shower, a storage room and a small veranda. On the second floor is a sitting area with panoramic views and a sleeping area with two single beds. In front a cozy terrace, next to the cottage a gazebo and along the back a screened lawn with umbrellas, seating and loungers and a beautiful view. During your stay you have a TV, radio and free Wifi. Single comforters and pillows are provided. There is an information folder including various walks that start from the nature house. Bring your own: fitted sheet, comforter cover, pillowcase and towels. The nature house has a living area of 90 m². Pets and smoking not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
The property is located in the Eifel Ardennes Natural Park. We try to create a small paradise with an ecological lifestyle (own vegetable and herb garden, solar panels, biomass heating, hedges and hedgerows), on the more than one hectare entrusted to us. The East Cantons is home to Belgium's oldest nature reserve: the High Fens. With its area of 35 km², it is also the largest and is part of the cross-border Naturpark Hohes Venn Eifel. A beautiful area that lends itself to hiking, cycling and mountain bike tours. The nature house also has a sustainability certificate from ECEAT (European Center for ECO and AGRO Tourism). There is an information folder available including several walks that start from the nature house. From the cottage you can walk straight into the forest. For weekend rentals, departure on Sunday is only at 16h. (Arrival on Sunday is then 18 hours)
