This nature house for up to six people is located in rolling Tuscany just 40 kilometers from Florence in unspoiled nature on a hill with beautiful views of the Tuscan Apennines. An ideal base for lovers of culture and nature. The house is located on a country road, with panoramic views over olive groves, meadows, forests and mountain landscapes. The detached nature house was built and restored in Tuscan style and is very cozy. It is idyllically situated at the top of a hill (450 meters), which offers stunning views of the Mugello valley in the wooded Tuscan Apennines near Borgo San Lorenzo, 40 kilometers north of Florence. Around the house are several terraces with cozy seating areas and a garden. Everywhere there is a beautiful, unobstructed view of the impressive landscape. On the side of the house there is an outdoor shower. The largest terrace is under a veranda, so that even in high summer can enjoy the surroundings and long summer evenings.Rent is incl. for 4 people, the 5th and 6th guest costs ten euros per night.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity you can make beautiful walks and enjoy the tranquility. In the neighboring historic town of Vicchio (seven kilometers) with 7,000 inhabitants you can do all your shopping and there is a weekly colorful market. There are also tennis courts, a riding school and a swimming pool. You can also play golf nearby. Vicchio is a historic place where the painter Giotto was born in 1266. For smaller groceries you can also go to the village of Molezzano, three kilometers away. From Vicchio you can take the train to Florence (40 kilometers), where you will be in one hour. From the same village there is also a direct connection to Ravenna. In addition, within one hour you are in Bologna and within an hour and a half in Pisa and Lucca. Beautiful day trips can be made by car to Arezzo, Siena and San Gimignano via the famous Chianti route. Florence, Pisa and Bologna have airports, where a car can be rented. In short, this nature house is very conveniently located for people who want to enjoy nature, take walks and combine all this with the art cities.
