Spend the night in the heart of Giethoorn! Quietly located, thatched nature house with spacious gardens adjacent to ged. accessible nature reserve. This nature house has recently been tastefully redecorated. Excellent for a wonderful quiet vacation in the nature of National Park Weerribben-Wieden. Also for the active vacation: in the vicinity of the cottage is excellent for walking, cycling and boating. Renting a whisper boat, canoe or e-sloop is possible from location. The nature house has a living and dining room with good furniture and a fully equipped open kitchen with microwave oven, extractor system, dishwasher, built-in refrigerator, 4-burner stove (gas) and coffee maker. In addition, a loft with a double bed (2x 80x200, single comforters) and a nice bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The house has central heating, flat screen cable TV, fixed internet and also free WiFi. There are 2 terraces with garden furniture available.
Nature and surroundings
Giethoorn is located in the Kop van Overijssel, in National Park Weerribben-Wieden, especially special because of its vastness and wealth of plants and animals. Giethoorn has more waterways than others: the famous village canal, the many ditches and the beautiful lakes. The thatched farmhouses built on islands with well-kept gardens, in addition to the typical bridges, determine the village image. You stay overnight in the middle of this special village! Various activities in the area: boat trips, cycling and walking tours, visit museum, gallery or store and the visitor centers in the National Park. Or shopping in the nearby fortified town of Steenwijk or in Meppel, a visit to the nearby moors and dolmens in Havelte (with sheepfold) and other villages in Drenthe such as Ruinen (with sheepfold) and Dwingeloo, a visit to the colorful Staphorst and the Reest valley, to the Orchideeënhoeve or to animal park Taman Indonesia.
