This charming nature house is located in a sunny clearing in the forest 200m from our hamlet of Albugue. There is a living room with sitting area, an open kitchen with dining table, fridge and stove and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The cottage has one bedroom with a 1.40m bed and one with two single beds and another bed on the landing. There is a large garden with bright shrubs and a large chestnut that provides shade. Around you you can hear only the (night) birds.
Nature and surroundings
200m from the cottage is our medieval farmstead Albugue with three more gites and a campsite. We are in southern France, by the river Tarn between Albi and Millau, in a nature reserve in the Aveyron department. We have sheep, chickens, cats, bees and two dogs. This nature house is on a private road and no traffic passes by. At 400m meanders a stream with a water basin and a waterfall. Swimming river Tarn 10 minutes away. We offer mapped hiking trails and a folder of trips to castles, markets, museums, etc. We sell jams, honey and vegetables from the garden. In high season it is a very suitable place for people with small children. There are always friends to play with and workshops twice a week.
