Nature house in IJsselmuiden

In the middle of the IJssel floodplains, near the old Hanze city of Kampen lies this floating ruralhut. It is located in a residential area with a unique location in the Stoter hole. You are in the middle of nature while Kampen is reachable within 10 minutes by bike. The ark is easy to reach and there is a parking space in front of your door. You must walk over a 80 meter long scaffold through the reed to get to your own front door. With a bit of luck you'll see an kingfisher flashing by. This is waking up in the middle of nature! On the same residential area there is also a ruralhut for six people (house code 26771). These two ruralhuts can also be booked together so they can accommodate up to 10 persons.

The ruralhut is surrounded by reeds and waterfowl. An kingfisher wanders around and the egret shows itself regularly. An otter was signaled in the lake. This otter has been seen several times over the past few years. It is a place in the middle of nature of the floodplains. The residential area is located in the Stoter lake. This is a lake connected to the IJssel river. The floodplains of the river are a beautiful and diverse nature reserve. You are literally in the middle of it. In spring, you can see the mating dance of grebes and swans. You can also see the young birds hatch. After that you hear the rustling of all those young animals which are learning to swim and searching for food. You have a good view on these young animals from behind the windows, but there is also the possibility to sit outside on the unique wooden terrace. In winter you will see the most special migratory birds to equip their long journey to the south. They regularly stop here to stay during the whole winter. This area is beautiful and very different in all seasons.
