Come enjoy the wood-fired hot tub outside or the hot tub inside! Our chalet has 3 bedrooms, spread over 2 floors. Please note: Short, steep stairs, via a lockable hatch, from the room with bunk beds to the room downstairs. We offer you all the comforts of home including dishwasher, freezer, combi oven, bbq, washer & dryer. And Proximus TV, wifi, Playstation 3, kicker table & DVD on all TVs for your entertainment. The chalet has central heating. In winter we provide a pleasantly warm arrival. The beds are also made. On request we provide baby equipment and towels. Wood is always available. The chalet is located together with other cottages in a dead-end street. At the back is a through road, which can be busier during the day in summer. There are 2 parking spaces and a secure bike shed. For your information, camera surveillance films the parking & entrance door garden. Deposit payable in advance via bank transfer.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located near the High Fens and the border with Luxembourg. Cross the street and you are on the property of Lac de Cherapont. Here you can swim in the large lake or just relax on the beach. There are also a fishing pond and petanque courts and you can go there for a nice local beer or a meal. Several beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails also start from Lac de Cherapont. You can find a variety of activities in Gouvy, including guided horseback rides, walks with donkeys, agrogolf and the barefoot trail. The nature house is also an excellent base for various trips. Visit the well-known and lesser-known breweries of Achouffe, Lupulus, Oster and Brasserie de la Lienne, among others. Also the circuit of Spa Francorchamps, the subtropical swimming pool in Vielsalm, the ski & cross-country ski slopes and the numerous war museums are not far away.
