This ruralhut used to be a small farmhouse, but has been converted into this beautiful home. The cottage is located in the medieval village of Estoher. This authentic village is surrounded by vineyards, peach trees, olive groves, and wooded hills. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a bedroom. The living room has a cozy sitting area and a double sofa bed. Adjacent you will find the kitchen, equipped with a ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and kettle. There’s a bathroom, and a bedroom with a double bed and closet on the first floor. The south-facing terrace offers beautiful views of the side of Mont Canigou and a few old walled gardens.

This ruralhut is located in the department of ‘Pyrénées-Orientales’, which is the southernmost part of France and on the Spanish border. This area was part of ’Catalunia’ up until the end of the 17th century. It therefore shares the same history as the Spanish southern neighbor region, of which Barcelona is a part of. Catalan influence is still noticeable in building styles, events, the relaxed way of life and the French-Catalan cuisine. There’s travel guides and hiking maps available in the cottage.
