Nature house in HAUT-CLIGNON

This beautiful ruralhut is located in the French Alps in the Parc du Mercantour Nature Park. The cottage has been a shepherd’s house since 1886. On the ground floor you will find the bathroom with shower, and a storage room with a fridge, freezer, and a washing machine. The kitchen can be found on the first floor, which gives you access to the balcony and a double bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with an authentic AGA wood stove (two hotplates and two ovens), and an additional AGA gas cooker (four cooking basins) with an electric oven. You can find the larch wood living room on the second floor, with a balcony and panoramic view over the Verdon valley, a cozy lounge around the wood stove, and a sleeping area with double bed (and separate toilet and washbasin).

One of the biggest features of the ruralhuts is its exclusive location. Due to high location you get to enjoy the most of the sun and the view of the Verdon valley. The ruralhut is in the typical mountain village of Haut-Clignon and is surrounded by woods and mountain meadows. You can start unique walks straightaway from the cottage. During a walk the odds are high that you will encounter chamois, ibex, or other wild life.
