This authentic wine-making ruralhut from 1850 is located in the village of Chatillon and Dios at the foot of the “Hautes Alpes” in the Vercors natural park, in southern France. The cottage is surrounded by a completely walled private garden that you share with the owners. There’s a cozy kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a storage room on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, and a Senseo. On the first floor you will find a bedroom with a double bed, a sofa, TV and a balcony. The cottage has its own terrace and is located in a spacious garden. There is a lovely swimming pool which you can use in the garden.
Nature and surroundings
One kilometer away from the ruralhut you will find the picturesque village of Châtillon-enruralh-Diois. This village has a weekly market, convenient shops, restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food, and a post office. The larger city ‘Die’ is 12 kilometers away. You will find cozy markets and wine tastings there. Are you looking to cool down during the hot summer days? The Bez river is only ten minutes away, in which you can swim. You can also go out canoeing and rafting on the Drôme river.
