Nature house in Tailles

This nature house is quiet and rural in a hamlet of Les Tailles in Houffalize - with a beautiful view of meadow, forest and valley. The cozy chalet in solid wood construction and Ardennes stone has five bedrooms with box-spring beds and private sink, some access to the bathroom. WE (2n) applies until Sunday 5pm. The large tree-lined garden with terrace and picnic tables, large bird feeder, BBQ, campfire pit, petanque and trampoline can also be enjoyed in the Finnish kota or grill hut. The jacuzzi on the outdoor terrace or wellness area on the first floor with Turkish bath or hammam, sauna and walk-in showers are optional. Price when booking is weekend price 2 nights! From the house you can walk straight into nature with the available plans. At 500 m is the private swimming/fishing pond with trout, roach, carp.... (free reservation: Winter € 60. Summer: see photo). Ski resorts reachable by car in 10 minutes. Fast charging station for electric cars at 4.6 km.

The nature house is located on the Plateau des Tailles, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the region. Within walking distance you will find the largest beaver dams in Belgium. Deer, roe deer and foxes can regularly be observed from the living room of the cottage. Beavers can be observed five to ten minutes walk from the house. The landlord is a nature guide and also rents kayaks. You can do kayaking trips on the Ourthe River - with or without a nature guide - and look for dippers, kingfishers, beavers and much more. You have many beautiful walks here, peat bogs and beautiful river valleys. Raccoons and badgers often look for food near the cottage at night. The rare black stork and red kite are also often observed here from spring onward. Cranes migrate over the property by the thousands every year. In the garden there is a large feeding table where many bird species can be observed at close range throughout the year. Raccoons also frequent the feeding table at night.
