Nature house in Monceaux sur Dordogne

This authentic ruralhut is part of a 19th century farmhouse, set in the middle of nature. The ruralhut lies in a valley, besides a small river with origins from the Dordogne. The entire valley is included in the Natura 2000 as a protected nature reserve. There’s a cozy sitting area with a wood burning stove in the living room. Adjacent you will find the cozy kitchen, equipped with everything needed to cook. There is a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink, a mezzanine with a double bed, and a bedroom with three single beds. The cottage is tidy and has been restored and decorated with natural materials. There is no TV. You will find well-deserved rest and simplicity here. The landlords of the domain live on the spot, on demand they can prepare fresh vegetarian meals with ingredients that they have cultivated themselves. There are animals on site. (Dog, cat, horses, ponies, and goats) There is a natural swimming pool with flowing spring water.

The ruralhut is set in a wooded valley with waterfalls, natural meadows, forests, and authentic villages. And of course the mighty Dordogne river is nearby, where you can kayak! Additionally you can visit caves, impressive castles, and ruins in the area.
