Nature house in El Perelló
Catalonia, Spain
- 4 persons
- 2 bedrooms
- WiFi
- Swimming pool
- Pets allowed
Sun, sea, peace and space offers this authentic nature house with magnificent views over the valley and the village of El Perelló. The cottage for 4 people is located 1.5 km from El Perelló and 7 km from the beach, in the middle of the "campo" among olive trees. The original casita has been left intact and expanded with an extension containing a kitchen, bathroom and second bedroom. The cottage was made from the rocks coming from the area. The total area of the nature house is 38 m² and consists of a bedroom, living room/bedroom, dining kitchen, toilet and shower. Outside is a covered terrace with barbecue. You can also use the large swimming pool (10 x 5 m), which you share with 2 small cottages of 4 to 5 people. Dogs are always welcome! 3 cottages are spread over a terraced estate with mainly olive and almond trees and offer a lot of privacy. The finca itself is still in business and produces, among other things, its own organic, cold-pressed olive oil.
Nature and surroundings
Within walking distance is El Perelló. It is a lively, authentic, non-touristy, Spanish village. All amenities are present, such as supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, swimming pool, a disco and a bodega (wine cellar). A terrace or eating out is still cheap here. About seven kilometers from El Perelló are the fishing villages of Ampolla and Ametlla de Mar. Both villages have somewhat busier beaches and nice boutiques. In between are small coves where you can still find a "private" beach. This house is officially recognized and registered as a vacation home by the government of Cataluña. Near the nature house are some beautiful national parks, such as the Ebro Delta and the Els Ports. The Delta de L'Ebre is the second largest delta on the Mediterranean Sea, where nature lovers can relax. A variety of ecosystems can be found here, such as salt marshes, green rice fields, dunes with wide stretches of sand and lagoons. The salt marshes attract flamingos, among others. The coastal area and the Ebro River is known for its fishing and boating opportunities. The Els Ports is a rugged area with high mountains where you will find many species of birds of prey, cabras (wild goats) and bulls, among others.
