From the nature house you can walk through the backyard into the forest. In the forest and in the garden you can see the deer walking! In Brilon, on the northern edge of the Rothaar Mountains, leads the 154 km long Rothaarsteig (the so-called Way of the Senses). Since its opening as a popular hiking trail in May 2001, the Rothaarsteig has developed into a true flagship of hiking tourism. This route passes by our backyard! Step out of the garden and walk the route towards Willingen or back to the starting point in Brilon.For birdwatchers it is a treat to see so many birds in the immediate vicinity. Also sporty enjoyment of nature is excellent here. Cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and cycling is very popular here. In short, plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature for the whole family!
