This spacious nature house is half of a converted farmhouse. It is a spacious accommodation -for up to -6 people with a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave etc.). It features a cozy living room with TV with a stereo (CD`s, reading books, games/puzzles and toys). The vacation home has two new bathrooms (2015), both with a walk-in shower. There are 5 SPACIOUS BEDROOMS with single beds. There is an additional toilet on the second floor. In the barn there is a table tennis table, darts and a basketball net. The vacation home has a large garden with a terrace and plenty of parking space. The nature house has the following facilities: TV and stereo, central heating, complete kitchen, new bathrooms and toilet, good beds, play attributes, terrace with garden furniture, 2 bicycles and a canoe. There is also the possibility to rent the sauna (2/6 persons),
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the nature reserve the Rottige Meente which belongs to one of the most beautiful and valuable wetlands of the Netherlands. It is intended to connect to the "National Park Weerribben-Wiedden". Here you can also encounter the fish otter or the fire butterfly. The farm is an ideal base for nature lovers, hikers (Zuiderzeepad), cyclists, canoeists, anglers, skaters and those seeking peace and quiet. You can also make nice day trips from Scherpenzeel such as to the Orchid Farm in Luttelgeest, to Giethoorn or visit one of the Frisian 11 cities.
