Nature house in le Moustier

This family's nature house a real family home and is located in one of the most beautiful regions of France, in the Dordogne near the village of Le Moustier between Sarlat and Montignac. The former farmhouse with a large barn has been renovated, is set in its own grounds of 3000 m² and has views of the famous La roque St. Christophe. The region is particularly known for la grotte de Lascaux, a cave with ancient wall paintings dating back about 30,000 years, linguistic châteaux and many cycling and hiking trails in the wooded area. The house has about 150 m² of living space on two floors with a fireplace, a large living room with kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is suitable for up to six people looking for a relaxing stay to explore the region.On the ground floor are the large living,- dining room with an open kitchen and the terrace overlooking La roque St. Christophe. Also on the ground floor are a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower/tub and a toilet. On the second floor are two bedrooms and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. The second floor can be reached internally via a staircase as well as from outside via a separate entrance.

The wooded area with many rock formations offers many opportunities for extensive hiking, - and cycling. Numerous châteaux and small picturesque villages with nice restaurants along the Vezere and Dordogne rivers invite you to stay. Der region is particularly known for its archaeological sites and caves. The most famous is la grotte de Lascaux, a cave with ancient wall paintings dating back about 30,000 years.
