Located in a small hamlet in Burgundy is this former French farm. Nowadays it’s a modern, hospitable space with authentic elements. It is the ideal place for a large family or two families who wish to enjoy their holidays together. This allows you to have cozy gatherings while offering everyone their privacy. Modern features have been added to the ruralhut, such as a five burner stove, a bathroom with a shower with massage jets, and there is Wi-Fi available everywhere. For the more chilly days wood burning stoves are available. The spacious living room with kitchen allows you to table a large company or to play a game. There are many games and toys available. This ruralhut can also be booked for four people (27893) or ten people (27892).
Nature and surroundings
The ruralhut is located in a small hamlet called Fontête, in a lovely quiet area in the west of the Saône and Loire. The nearest village is Gilly sur Loire, to which Fontête belongs. In this village you can find a small shop and small train station, which is roughly 4.5 kilometers away from the ruralhut. There are two bikes at the house. Groceries and shopping can be done in the nearby towns in the region. The land surrounding the house is over 1000 square meters. From the garden you have beautiful unobstructed views, and on warm days the spacious terrace under the large linden tree offers wonderful cooling. In the garden you’ll also find hammocks, a ping-pong table, a trampoline, and an inflatable swimming pool. Making a fire and having a barbecue are also possible. When you look around you will see the characteristic landscape of Burgundy; hills, forests, meadows, hedges, and on bright evenings a beautiful starry sky.

Gerard July 7, 2018 General rating:Een mooi landelijk gelegen typisch Frans huis. Van natuursteen. Smaakvol en liefdevol ingericht met een Nederlands tintje. Aan de inventaris ontbreekt niets. Wij waren er in de zomer, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het ook in de andere jaargetijden heel gezellig is met de haardkachels. Ook over de tuin zijn we bijzonder te spreken: veel fijne plekjes met schaduw als het nodig is
Nature, peace & environment:Er was heel veel rust en ruimte bij het huis. De duisternis 's avonds met zoveel sterren. De natuur van de omringende bossen en de Loire waarin we heerlijk hebben gezwommen.

L. F August 13, 2016 General rating:Rustig gelegen, maar toch niet te ver weg van andere huisjes. Mooi uitzicht, ruime tuin met schaduwplek en speelmogelijkheid voor kinderen.
Binnen fijne,gezellig ingerichte ruimtes met goede apparatuur.
