Here it is still possible; waking up in the morning to the chirping of the birds. In the distance you can hear the cows mooing. Lovely to have breakfast all together in the farmer's kitchen with the huge table. And shortly into the barn for the farmer's tour. While the children jump on the trampoline or discover the cable car, you can relax on the farmer's terrace with the heavenly view while keeping an eye on the youngest. The spacious vacation farmhouse makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. It feels like a luxury country house equipped with all modern appliances, but in a unique spot. There is plenty of room for everyone. The entire nature house can accommodate 16 people and 5 small children. The upstairs and downstairs have private bathrooms. There is even a 'Twentse opkamer' on the first floor overlooking the stable. For the children it is a feast to sleep in a real box bed during the vacation.
Nature and surroundings
You'll feast your eyes as soon as you open the door of the nature house. The ritual can begin. First a nice shower, dry off well and with your feet in the water and then into the sauna. Relaxing on a towel. The last few minutes sitting on the lower bench. And then out into the meadow, cooling off. How special this is, to be allowed to enjoy the outdoors on a lounger in the middle of "the middle of knowhere. And then into the hot tub. The wood-fired big bathtub, where you can look wonderfully far away. And the cows are watching with you! On a clear sky you can count endless stars. The surroundings of the nature house invite you to take beautiful walks and bike rides past grazing cows and historic farms and through the vast forests and nature reserves, such as the Springendal and Het Stift. The vacation farm is located near the cultural-historical town of Ootmarsum with its many art galleries. This makes the nature house an ideal starting point for day trips in the area.
