Nature house in Pfaffenseifen
Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
- 14 persons
- 6 bedrooms
- WiFi
- Pets allowed
The nature house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, in the middle of the forest, with hiking and biking opportunities right from the front door. The house has a large living room with several seating areas and many tables for communal eating or playing games. In the living room there is also a wood-burning stove to cozy up around on colder evenings. The large garden offers lots of privacy and is ideal for outdoor activities, but please note that amplified music is not allowed outside and inside only until 10:00 pm! From the backyard, a path runs into the valley, with beautiful unspoiled pieces of nature and plenty of space to relax or read a book undisturbed. Upstairs are the six simply furnished bedrooms with 12 beds, two bathrooms with sinks, a toilet, a shower facility and a bathtub. Next to the house is a camping field, where additional tents can be placed. The managers live in a (separate) upstairs apartment in the same building.
Nature and surroundings
The Westerwald is less well known than the Eifel as a tourist destination, but at least as attractive! The region lies east of Bonn to the Rhine near Koblenz, east of South Limburg and northeast of the Eifel. It is a varied area: hills and valleys with many streams, winding roads with varied mixed forests, small-scale farmland with various crops and panoramic views. In this fascinating countryside lies the Ortschaft Pfaffenseifen, on a 1.6-kilometer cul-de-sac from nearby Birkenbeul. The Westerwald is an oasis of calm and a place to relax. Not least because of its particularly mild climate and healthy air. You can also enjoy hiking and cycling here. A half-hour walk from the house is the 34-meter-high "Raiffeisenturm" (viewing tower), which provides a magnificent view as far as the Seven Mountains and on the other side to the Eifel.
