This nature house is quiet and rural in Chabrehez, a hamlet of Les Tailles in Houffalize. The cozy chalet on 3200 m² of land, offers a beautiful view of meadow, forest and valley. The five bedrooms have box-spring beds and private washbasins, some with access to bathrooms. WE (2 n.) is valid until 5 p.m. Sunday. In the large tree-lined garden with terrace and picnic tables, large bird feeder, BBQ, campfire place, petanque and trampoline you can also enjoy the Finnish kota or grill hut. The nature house is located on the Plateau des Tailles, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the region. Within walking distance you will find the largest beaver dams in Belgium. Deer and foxes can regularly be observed from the living room of the house. Beavers can often be observed five to ten minutes walk from the house. The landlord is a Dutch-speaking nature guide and also rents out kayaks. You can do kayak trips on the Ourthe, with or without a nature guide, and look for dippers, kingfishers, beavers and much more. You have many beautiful walks here, moors and beautiful river valleys. Raccoons and badgers often look for food at night near the property. The rare black stork and red kite are also often observed here from spring onward. Cranes migrate over the cottage by the thousands every year. Recently, raccoons can be regularly observed from this nature house on the bird feeder.
