Our nature house is hidden in the woods - not on a vacation park - near Epe and Emst, North Veluwe. It is a cozy cottage for four people surrounded by 2400 m² unfenced garden. The nature house is fully equipped and newly and ecologically built in 2013. The cottage has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. On the loft in the living room there are mattresses to lounge or sleep on. There is an open kitchen with refrigerator and combi oven, a shower with toilet and sink, Wifi and a large covered terrace. There is underfloor heating throughout the cottage. See the floor plan for the layout and the photo page for an impression. There is no TV, but all the more peace and quiet and space. A deer in the garden, a badger on the sandy path, hares in the meadow, a great tit at the table and over 50 different plants right around and on the house. A wonderful place for nature lovers and peace seekers.
Nature and surroundings
Directly from our cottage you can take long and short walks and bike rides. Through meadows, the woods and to the moor, without having to cross a freeway. In the Crown Estate Het Loo near Gortel, encountering a wild boar, fox or red deer is not a rarity, but exciting every time. The "yellow-pole walk" is our favorite. There are several 'Klompenpaden' in the immediate vicinity and a bike ride to the IJssel is definitely worthwhile. With as an encore the bicycle ferry to the other side. There is a beautiful 'green-pole walk' across the Tongeren heath with beautiful views. Within cycling distance you can swim at the Kievitsveld or go to the sauna 'De Veluwse bron'. As well as a visit to Cannenburgh Castle in Vaassen or Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn. The Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zwolle are a nice trip.
