Nature house in Holten

This romantic nature house is a wonderful place to unwind. Wake up to the sound of birds and squirrels near your window. The cottage is completely private on a large piece of forest land of 1350 m², surrounded by trees and rhododendrons. It has a beautiful, spacious feel and is fully equipped. Even in bad weather it is enjoyable because of the good insulation and the pleasant warmth of the wood stove. There is underfloor heating throughout the house. The covered porch that connects to the living room is cozy, even in bad weather. The kitchen is fully equipped, with oven microwave, fridge freezer but also the bathroom with its bathtub and walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer, as well as the necessary linen. The bedroom has two new box springs (80x200 centimeters) and a large wardrobe. The box spring can be set up as a double bed or two single beds. Free Wi-Fi is available. You can park the car under the covered carport.

Walking and cycling in the forests and over the extensive moors of the Sallandse Heuvelrug is an unforgettable experience. There are many hiking and biking routes that you can take advantage of. If you like golf, you can use several golf courses nearby. VVV Holten has lots of information about the various possibilities. In the Kultuurhus in Holten are regular theater, cabaret or music performances. Definitely worth consulting the culture calendar. Of course, for an extensive cultural program you can also go to Deventer. That is a 20-minute drive away. The Pieterpad is known among true hikers as the longest hiking trail in the Netherlands. The Pieterpad takes you from Pieterburen in northern Groningen to Sint-Pietersberg in southern Limburg. The landlords have already welcomed several Pieterpad hikers, as you can walk two stages from Holten. This nature house is therefore extremely suitable as a wonderful resting point during this beautiful route.
