Nature house in Fleurac

Right in the tourist heart of the Dordogne, in an oasis of calm, this fine nature house with pool awaits you. You will find the house at the end of a dead-end road on a flat plot of over 2000 square meters. In the garden you will find beautiful trees that bloom beautifully white in June and provide wonderful shade during the summer season. Around the pool there are some velvet trees that bloom throughout the summer. You will also find a few fruit bushes whose fruit you may of course pick. Do not expect a beautiful design house but a cozy "home" with all amenities and the ultimate "cabin on the heath" feeling. A more idyllically situated house you will be hard pressed to find. The large sliding doors in the living room enhance the indoor/outdoor feeling and include the terrace adjacent to the house. Both the house and the garden offer a lot of privacy. From the garden and from the pool you overlook a meadow where deer regularly come to graze in the morning, but especially around sunset. This house is also due to the large amount of toys, cribs, chairs, secure pool and playground very suitable for families with (small) children.Small pets are welcome after consultation.

The house is situated on the edge of the beautiful valley of the Vézère, in a charming and quiet valley surrounded by nature, yet in the immediate vicinity there is plenty to see and do. Every day of the week there is a market somewhere in one of the picturesque villages in the area. These villages, especially during the summer months, have their own village festivals and there are many castles, caves and museums to visit. There are also plenty of opportunities for children. The Vézère valley has been classified by UNESCO for its unique, historical and scenic character. Not to be missed is La Roque St Christophe, you will find this spectacular rock with cave dwellings just 6 kilometers from this house. For canoeing you don't have to go far either, opportunities abound for example at St. Leon sur Vézère or at Les Eyzies. Horseback riding is possible near Rouffignac or St. Leon sur Vézère. The town of Montignac is about 10 kilometers away, this cozy town with some stores and terraces and is well worth a visit. A visit to Montignac is also good to combine with a visit to the caves of Lascaux and Chateau de Losse. Sarlat is definitely recommended with its beautiful buildings, stores, many terraces and a nice market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Périgueux is a little further away, about 35km away Périgueux is a beautiful old town, the daily market on Saturday is even bigger and well worth a visit. The nearest cave to be visited is that of Rouffignac, also called the cave of the 1000 mammoths. In the house you will find an information folder with all other tourist information.
