In the middle of the forest, yet close to the village of Otterlo (900 meters) where there are also bus stops to Ede, Apeldoorn and Arnhem. This Natuurhuis is located in a spacious area where dogs don’t have to lined up on an extended seven-kilometer route. Along this house is a 17km mountain bike route. Within 500 meters is the Eeskooterpad, one of Gelderland's most beautiful walking lanes. Conveniently located in the triangle Apeldoorn, Ede and Arnhem. There is the possibility of a wildlife excursion together with a recognized nature guide in the park Hoge Veluwe by car. Around the house there are many types of birds (at night you will hear the owls and the woodpeckers during the day), squirrels, hare and rabbits, sometimes a deer or wild boar. In the wildlife park, the Roekelse Forest (adjacent to this private forest) you can regularly spot deer and wild boar from the wildlife observatories. In short, you are in the middle of nature.
