This nature house is literally on the border of the Gers and the Haute Garronne. It is the old "front house" of a Gascony style farmhouse and has room for 5 guests. The farm stands 2.5 kilometers from the village of Empeaux almost at the end of a dead-end road. Around the farm, in the adjacent valleys, are the fields of our neighbor whom you can occasionally see working his land. The farm has a large garden, a terrace and a swimming pool (shared with the owners who live in the part). In the farmhouse you will find a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining table and upstairs a bedroom with double bed and a few steps higher a loft room with three beds, the total area is 82 square meters.

The owners bought this farm to enjoy both the nature around us and the big city. The Gers is one of the most rural parts of France, a rolling landscape with small towns and villages. Empeaux is located between the market towns of L'Isle Jourdain, St-Lys and Samatan. You are in the middle of the grains and sunflowers and can enjoy walking and also cycling on the quiet little roads between the villages; but a bit up and down! Around the farm you see occasionally some deer, badgers or a wild boar. At night the starry sky is worth staying up once. But you are also within 35 minutes in the heart of Toulouse, 'la ville rose', a beautiful city on the Garonne River. You'll find a beautiful old city center and a host of museums, parks and entertainment options. Toulouse is the heart of the European aerospace industry and there is the possibility to visit the new aviation museum 'Aerosopia', the final assembly of the iconic Airbus A380 or the space museum Cité de L'espace. Some further day trips are of course also possible. For example a mountain hike in the Pyrenees (1.5 hours), or skiing in winter... Alternatively a visit to the medieval city of Carcassonne (1.5 hours) or Albi and Cordes sur Ciel (about 1.25 hours). The Mediterranean Sea is about 2 hours away and the Gers and further surroundings offer the possibility to visit good wine regions.
