Nature and surroundings
This Nature House is an ideal base for hikers, cyclists and car and motorcycle enthusiasts who want to explore the Brabant Biesbosch and its surroundings. Hank has a picturesque harbor, the Vissershang, from where you can explore the Biesbosch by whisper boat, under guidance. But if you prefer an individual approach, you can also rent a canoe or rowing boat to explore the Biesbosch on your own. For hikers, there is the Oostwaardpad, among others, which runs alongside the location. Distances vary from 7.5 to 23 kilometers. For cyclists, there is the extensive junction network of the ANWB with an infinite number of possible cycling routes, short or long, blowing out to all points of the compass. Finally, car and motorcycle enthusiasts are also well catered for with all the dikes and rural roads in this area. Fortified towns such as Geertruidenberg, Woudrichem and Heusden are well worth a visit.
