Through the ancient granite staircase you enter the floor of this cozy nature house; an apartment where the special combination of materials and artistic decor immediately stand out. The high, cozy living room with the warm look of chestnut wood and the beautiful natural stone wall and unique art objects is spacious (30m2) and contains a well-equipped open kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a fine wood stove. Adjacent to the living room is a spacious terrace where you can enjoy fine outdoor dining together and the fascinating view of the courtyard with pigeon tower and the old street or the breathtaking starry sky during the beautiful summer evenings. A unique painted staircase leads from the living room to the BG with its special hall with natural stone wall and two double bedrooms (9 m²), the bathroom and toilet. Also here beautiful tiled floor and sturdy beams. The bedroom floor stays wonderfully cool in summer.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in an attractively restored Mas in the Cevennes and property of over 15ha, where a number of vacation accommodations have been realized. It is lovely to stay in and around the Mas and the river Luech which runs alongside the property offers plenty of water fun. The rugged beauty and rich nature of the 'Lozere' and the Parc Nationale de Cevennes, the charm of the Mediterranean 'Gard', it is all within reach. It offers plenty of occasion for hikes (on foot, by bike, donkey or horse or by car), picnics and swimming. There are many sporting opportunities (e.g. hiking, cycling, horseback riding, climbing, canyoning, caving, canoeing and so on). The vineyards of the Languedoc can be visited. The charming French towns and villages in the area offer a range of festivals, folkloric activities, markets, cafes, restaurants and sightseeing.
