This ruralhut is a large, comfortable log cabin, located in an old forest and almost completely equipped with all the comforts. The house is available with a normal car in both summer and winter. The log cabin is located on the Ranua lake, with shallow, hard beach. Included are rowboat and canoe, fishing nets, henna kitty (katiska) and simple fishing rods. It is an ideal base for picking berries and picking mushrooms. An Arctic zoo is located 10 kilometers from the house, restaurants and supermarket at seven kilometers. Downstairs there is one double bedroom, a living room with large TV, a bathroom with toilet, a sauna and an outdoor terrace. Upstairs four alcoves (bedrooms for two persons and optional extra mattress, with sloping roof). In addition, here is the second living room with an extra TV. Toys and high chairs are also provided, outside is a sandpit.

The house is located in old woods on the Ranua lake, with the village of Ranua on the other side at six kilometers. The Taiga Forest is characterized by pure air. It's a real quiet area, which prevents some urban residents from falling asleep. The hard lakeside makes it very suitable for young children too. Sunset is particularly beautiful in the summer on the terrace on the side of the lake, depending on the season, between 19.00 and midnight! The trail around the lake starts at 80 meters from the cottage, cross-country and motorway routes at 600 meters. Ranua is a few kilometers away and offers shops and restaurants. Skiing (descent) can be done at a 60 kilometer distance, horse riding at 15. The Ranua Zoo (10 kilometers) offers many possibilities with reindeer, husky's, snowmobiles, ice fishing, nature walks, and so on. Rovaniemi is 88 kilometers away and offers museums, restaurants, events, Santa Claus and downhill skiing in season. The log cabin is located 75 kilometers south of the Pool Circle, which will not get dark in the summer months. You also have a lot of sunshine. The temperature of the bathing water is usually between 19 and 23 degrees. During the winter you have a good chance to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).
