Five kilometers from the center of Nijmegen lies the beautiful village of Berg and Dal. As you drive through the village and into the driveway at this nature house, you pass the landlords' vineyard and imagine yourself in foreign spheres. This is enhanced by the hilly area with its forests and vistas. The spacious cottage with loft is connected to a veranda where you can enjoy the tranquility and the view. The atmosphere at this nature house is friendly and accessible and with the hosts' own wine there is also cozy. You must have hiked the N-70 route if you've been to this nature house. At a distance you can go to the Millingerwaard or Mookerhei for a totally different nature experience. You can also bike to Germany and possibly via the draisine (bicycle lorry) on the old train track back to Groesbeek, there is also a tourist office for more information. For cyclists it is a challenge to conquer the hills. In Berg en Dal itself there are several restaurants within walking distance and the nearby village of Beek has a large supermarket and a bakery.
