Welcome to our recently (Feb-2022) completely renovated, nostalgically decorated Nature House. In our nature house peace, space and privacy are guaranteed! Our detached Nature House (72 m2) is located in a beautiful nature reserve on approximately 1200 m2 of private (forest) land. The (fenced) garden is free and sheltered, surrounded by rhododendrons and with room for both sun and shade. From the garden or watching from the window you can quietly enjoy a wide variety of birds. Squirrels are also regular guests. The bungalow has a partly retro interior but is equipped with modern comforts. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern, the bathroom was recently (2022) renovated and the bungalow was recently (2022) equipped with an energy efficient boiler, new radiators and roof and wall insulation. Our other Nature House, No. 28105, is about 500m1 away and is also for rent.
Nature and surroundings
From the bungalow you walk directly into the forest. Also within walking distance, about 500m, is the Korenburgerveen, a beautiful nature reserve and hiking area. Several times we have spotted cranes here. Winterswijk itself is very cozy with the weekly market, beautiful streets with a wide range of stores, restaurants, cafes, museums and always various activities (see tourist Winterswijk).For entertainment on or on the water there is the recreational lake 't Hilgerlo, the in the 30s style restored outdoor pool called Strandbad and the indoor pool Jaspers.
