The former barn of this small farmhouse houses an idyllic and charming nature house. The apartment offers enough space for six people and features an outdoor with BBQ and has a view of the forest. This nature house is an apartment for six people and has 3 bedrooms (master bedroom at the front) and 2 bedrooms at the back. The bright kitchen at the front has all the necessary amenities (electric stove with 4 burners and an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and sink). The spacious living/dining room has TV and DVD player and access to the side terrace (with bbq and outdoor dining table) and access to the shower, sink and WC. The apartment has access to a crib and high chair. Nature house 30006 is also located on the same property. In the apartment there is a small stock of foodstuffs, such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, sugar, toilet paper, washing-up liquid, etc. Please replenish when you have used it up.
Nature and surroundings
At this farm, the owners have lots of outdoor space where there is a small pool (screened in), a playing field, trampoline and swings. As icing on the cake, there is also a natural sandbox! "Lighting a fire" no problem as long as it takes place in the campfire area. Our farm is located in the Siljans region. This area was formed 360 million years ago by the impact of a meteorite. On the edge of the crater that was formed at that time, there are several smaller lakes besides Lake Siljan, which together mark the outline of the eroded crater. Furudal lies on the northeastern edge of the crater on the Oresjön (Lake Orem) and Skattungen (Lake Skattungen). The area is characterized by beautiful hills, wide views, dark forests and a microclimate. You will find beautiful orchids in addition to flowers. In spring it is a coming and going of cranes. Behind the farm, accessible by a path through the forest runs the Siljan trail, a hiking trail of 200km around Lake Siljan.
