The former home of this half-timbered farmhouse from the eighteenth century has been completely restored into this beautiful nature house. This nature house can accommodate up to eight people. Especially suitable for 6 adults and possibly 2 children. On the ground floor is a kitchen, sitting room with a stove (and no fireplace) and a dining room with a pot-bellied stove that can no longer be used. There is also a toilet and shower. Also on the second floor two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower, two sinks and toilet. On the second floor there is a third bedroom accessible via an authentic but steep staircase. Also located in the yard is nature house 30173 and a shared sauna for both houses.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located high on a southern slope in the hamlet of Cottessen in one of the most beautiful places in the Geul Valley. There is a large, sloping house yard facing south. Surrounding the house are sitting terraces on different levels, with the most beautiful view from the Netherlands to the Belgian Ardennes. No traffic comes to the house (unpaved, steep road and prohibited access for unauthorized persons). The house is completely free and 100 meters away from the Vijlenerbos.
