This nature house is a detached house in Montanchez for two with private pool, set in a two-hectare olive grove. Within walking distance of the nearby village, accessible by an old cobbled path, or by car within 10 minutes. Since October 2016, wifi is available. The nature house is centrally located (40 minutes from the monumental cities of Trujillo, Cáceres and Merida and 1.5 hours from the pilgrimage site of Guadalupe). Accessible from Madrid airport (3 hours), Seville airport (2 hours) and Lisbon airport (3 hours). In 2022 we insulated the roof of both living room and the two bedrooms to reduce the cracking noise in the roof. The use of the pool is exclusively for the tenants of the nature house.
Nature and surroundings
The ideal vacation location for nature and bird lovers. Montanchez is known as a bird watching location. Several hiking trails can be selected from the house. The house is completely detached, in a walled olive grove with over 120 olive trees. Each year a hoopoe nests in one of the olive trees. From the terrace and balcony numerous birds are easy to see. We have already heard or seen 58 different birds in our own grove. The Monfragüe Natural Park is 1.5 hours away.
