Children will enjoy the park with ping-pong table, bow and arrow, dartboard, bocce ball, tree house building and several viewing spots. Maybe go to those cozy night markets (especially July and August), where you can enjoy a freshly prepared, often organic meal among the French. Besides natural areas and rivers, you'll find villages that seem forgotten by time. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. Leaflets and ideas are available and there is a tourist office in Cazals (Lot) and in Villefranche du Perigord (Dordogne). Les Arques is the village where Ossip Zadkine lived, there is much of his art in the Zadkine museum. Sttt. A roe deer, beautiful! Lighting a fire is not allowed in the summer, but if you do it neatly in the basket and are careful, it is a great experience to sit together around the campfire after 9 pm.
