The estate on which this nature house is located, a former water mill, is in a unique spot on the protected river la Sioule. Of the two houses on the property, one is rented. You have a lot of privacy here. This charming robust nature house consists of two separate living areas, each with its own entrance. The right part is for two persons (house code 30313). This ad is for the left part, suitable for eight people. Don't expect luxury, but do expect a charming, furnished house. Adjacent to the kitchen diner is an updated bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a toilet in the hallway. From the terrace there is a walkout to the river. There is plenty of space on the property, both for children and adults. For the children is and a cable car over the river! Also a place to barbecue and where a campfire can be made in the evening. There are hardly any mosquitoes! Even in spring and autumn it is lovely to stay here.

The protected river la Sioule is excellent for hiking, swimming, canoeing and fishing. The plot is on the border of the Puy de Dôme (an ancient volcanic region) and the Allier, on the north side of the Auvergne. The nature house is located five kilometers from the nearby quaint old town of Ébreuil with all amenities. Eight minutes drive to the bakery in the morning for fresh croissants and baguettes. Canoe rentals can also be found in Ébreuil, so close by. Canoeing through the Gorges de la Sioule is quite an experience! More stores can be found in Gannat, 12 kilometers away. In the vicinity (near Menat) you will find, among other things, the Château Rocher. A beautiful ruin! It stands on a rock with a beautiful view over the Sioule valley at 25 minutes drive. You can swim at Gour de Tazenat, a crater lake near Charbonnières-les-Vieilles, 30 minutes drive. Large cities such as Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand are easily accessible within 40 minutes via nearby highways (A71).
