The environment offers all the possibilities for hiking, visiting archaeological sites, photography or bird watching. The location is ideal for visiting monumental cities such as Trujillo and Guadalupe, but also ornithological sites, such as the national park of Monfragüe, La Serena, Las Villuercas, etc. The owners invite you to discover the surroundings of the house. Las Villuercas has good connections from Madrid, offers a wealth of landscapes and is centrally located with respect to the meadows and reservoirs of Orellana, Valdecaballeros and Cíjara or the national park of Monfragüe. Mérida and Cáceres are within an hour's drive, and Trujillo and Guadalupe are just around the corner. Extremadura has a very varied bird population, as does the landscape; mountains, plains, wetlands, rivers, reservoirs and dehesas. The area has the richest population of birds of prey and the dehesas are home not only to black vultures and black storks, but also to cranes and bustards!
