In the middle of the countryside, close to nature reserve Besselder Bos, you will find this nature house, part of a former farm. It is a semi-detached, but because of the space inside and the spacious garden, it offers a lot of privacy. A welcoming home with art on the wall, poems on the window, books and games in the closet. A kitchen with everything needed for dining, a spacious sitting room, a bathroom with shower and bath, bedrooms overlooking the meadows. A vegetable garden, which the guest can use to add to the food, according to the season and the cooperation of Mother Nature. An ornamental garden to lounge in or pick your own bouquet. A nature house where life is good, both indoors and outdoors.
Nature and surroundings
From the house you can walk straight to the Besselderbos and Besselderheide. From here it is easy to continue the walk along the Boelekeerspad. A little further: the woods around Castle Slangenburg and the woods of ´t Zand towards Ruurlo. The Winterswijk area is known for its walking opportunities in the beautiful scenery. In the nature house is information available on hiking and cycling routes, and other attractions and activities. The villages Halle and Zelhem are nearby, the city of Doetinchem fifteen minutes by car. A visit to the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen or Doesburg is very worthwhile. Culinary, combined with beautiful locations, there is plenty to experience and taste in the Achterhoek. Also in the field of art there are several possibilities: museum Lalique in Doesburg, museum More in Gorssel and castle Ruurlo. Something for everyone.
