This nature house is a Finnish chalet built a few years ago. It features a large sitting-bedroom, two lovely beds, a kitchenette to make your own tea and coffee. There is also a refrigerator and you can cook (simple). From the private terrace you look over the garden and the pond. If desired, you can also use the sauna/sanarium. On the outside terrace you can barbecue and there is a smoker.

This nature house is on a small land area of 3.5 ha and situated in a unique location in nature reserve "De Maurik" between Mill and Grave. De Maurik is part of a 1,526 ha large silence area. This silence area includes several estates. Furthermore, this area has many natural grounds with large grazers such as Highlanders and Prewalski horses. Part of the small river De Raam with its floodplains and the nature reserve De Langvennen are also part of this area. A stone's throw away is another large nature reserve De Maashorst. The river De Maas acts as a border line at the three-province point of Gelderland, Limburg and Brabant. Geologically, this area has much to offer. The area "de Kuilen" is internationally known for its many finds such as shark teeth and very old fossils. Recently an 8 km long hiking trail has been installed through this area. On the grounds of this nature house there is a forest plot and a large natural pond. Here you can regularly see the deer drinking. Other small hairy game also feels perfectly at home here, as evidenced by the many hares, rabbits, foxes and badgers. In spring the frogs croak and the birds sing their highest song. What could be nicer than being woken up by nature after a refreshing night's sleep? You can go straight from your room into nature for a brisk walk or bike ride.
