Ideal for those who want to enjoy a vast hilly meadowland, interspersed with fields, bordered by hedges and crossed by small rivers. The region is very wooded. Hiking opportunities are unlimited. Any-Martin-Rieux has about 500 inhabitants. Worth seeing are the small church built in 1124 and two historic lavoirs (washing places). The village has a magnificent private forest of more than 200 hectares. Any-Martin-Rieux borders the Parc naturel régional des Ardennes nature reserve. Nearby is also the Parc naturel régional de l'Avesnois. Nature is literally boundless, the landscape extends into the Belgian Forêt du Pays de Chimay. Venture out into the surrounding area.
