Hidden among ancient oaks, on the outskirts of Vasse, is this monumental nature house. It lies on the edge of the landlords' farm, quietly in the lee of the barns where you can enjoy the grazing cows in a beautiful Twente landscape from the living room. The nature house is suitable for up to 10 people (not for youth/student groups) and features include luxury box-spring beds, an atmospheric gas stove, dishwasher and a rain shower. After an impressive walk in the surroundings of Vasse with its rolling ashes, moors, springs and vast forests, you can then unwind in the infrared sauna or whirlpool. In 2010 the cottage was completely renovated and equipped with all modern conveniences.
Nature and surroundings
Vasse is located in the middle of the beautiful Twente countryside, near the famous picturesque art town of Ootmarsum. The wooded surroundings are fantastic for walking or cycling. In this characteristic rolling coulisse landscape you will find beautiful views, rare flora and fauna, heaths and burial mounds from the Ice Age. Between Vasse and Ootmarsum are unique nature reserves such as Het Springendal, De Vasserheide and the Valley of Mosbeek. Cyclists, hikers and people who love nature and tranquility will enjoy this wonderful environment. An excellent place to unwind and relax.
