Would you like to enjoy a magnificent view of natural meadow landscape with a colorful collection of birds, sheep and rabbits? Then this cottage is really for you. The large fully fenced garden (600 m²) borders open waterways and nature reserve. The cottage has an open bedroom with a double bed (160cm). Through the bedroom you reach a 2nd bedroom with a single bed. In the morning you will be woken up by birds in the garden. Even in bad weather you will enjoy; from the living room or covered porch you have a beautiful view of clouds, rain or thunderstorms. Stoking a fire outside in the old milk can at sunset is the best way to end the day. The cottage is heated in an environmentally friendly way using a pellet stove. Pellets are available and cost € 8, - per bag at the end of your stay can be settled by "refueling" of the stove. (During the cold months on average 1 bag per day). Pets and smoking are not allowed in this cottage.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in municipality De Ronde Venen, in the middle of the green heart. An archetypal Dutch landscape with meadows, ponds, rivers and ditches. The adjoining De Wilnisse Bovenlanden nature reserve was created to provide a larger habitat for meadow birds. The garden is located directly on the water. There are many cycling and walking routes towards Vinkeveen, Nieuwkoopse Plassen, Woerden or the Kromme Mijdrecht. Prefer a day trip to the city? From Breukelen Station (8 km), take the train to Amsterdam (30 min) or Utrecht (15 min).
