Nature house in CROS

Peace, space and beautiful nature can be found in this nature house. The landlords came here 40 years ago during a vacation. They immediately fell in love with this incredibly beautiful, wild and unspoiled area. They started an organic farm. Today there are three cottages located in this beautiful area, each 150 to 500 meters away from the farm. This nature house is surrounded by meadows, streams, forests and lakes and offers plenty of peace and quiet. This very efficient ingerichtenatuurhuisje has an area of 55 m² and also a very spacious balcony (14 m²) and a shed. From the balcony you can overlook the entire valley and lake. Also both spacious bedrooms offer a nice view and have play areas for children. Heating by radiators and floor heating. There is an enclosed garden of 1000 m², surrounded by nature and with a beautiful view. It is suitable for all ages. On request, all necessary equipment can be offered to make it very pleasant also forbabies. Pets are welcome, maximum two, more on request.

This nature house is located on the plateau of the Artense, an area of 455 km² varying between 600 and 1000 meters of altitude. For nature lovers, there are many hiking trails that will take you through forests, meadows, streams and hills from the plateau of the Artense to the massif of the Sancy. On the plateau of the Artense you will find slightly fewer meadows than in the neighboring areas: on the contrary, forests are very abundant. These forests are mainly formed by beech and pine trees, as well as oak trees. Because of the large area of forests, the fauna is very diverse. Large numbers of wild animals live in the area such as red deer, roe deer, wild boar, badgers and birds of prey (eagles and buzzards). For athletes, there are many opportunities from skiing in the winter to swimming, climbing and horseback riding in the summer. Culture lovers will enjoy the ancient Romanesque churches and castles. The plateau of the Artense is made of granite; Auvergne is a volcanic region. In the northeast of the Artense plateau you will find the mountains of the Sancy, culminating in the Puy de Sancy (1886 meters). Despite its aspect of a "normal" mountain, the Puy-de-Sancy is really a volcano: the highest in France. And of course you can also just stay around the cottage to enjoy the peace and nature there.
