This impressive nature house is a renovated 18th century farmhouse located on a mound. It is in a rural location in the middle of the Duffel nature reserve and near the Milingerwaard. There is plenty of rest and relaxation here. The nature house can accommodate two to 16 people and is ideal for groups or large and small families. The nature house has a large terrace and an enclosed garden. There is a trampoline, a large play/soccer field and, in the summer months, a swimming pool. There is a living room and kitchen, six bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is fully equipped for a pleasant stay. The landlords wish you a warm welcome to discover this paradise!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in a nature reserve that has been given the title of National Landscape. The Duffelt, the Millingerwaard and the Ooijpolder are rugged nature reserves where you can stroll and cycle to your heart's content. In the floodplains of the Rhine there are also plenty of animals, such as beavers, wild geese, storks, konik horses and galloway cattle. A tributary of the Rhine River is a stone's throw from the nature house. The dike is for cyclists and hikers. The historic village of Schenkenschanz can be reached by ferry. The cities of Kleve, Kranenburg and Xanten are worth a trip. The oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen, is about 18 kilometers away. Wonderful for a day trip.
