Nature house in Gaujac

This nature house is located in one leg of a u-shaped Gascon farmhouse. A spacious, attractively restored house (110m²) with terrace & parking under the barn and a large piece of private land. From there you have a beautiful view over the valley, where wheat or sunflowers grow in summer. On the other side you have a view of the Pyrenees. Under the barn is a dining area where you can sit in any weather. In the summer there is a ping-pong table here and in the garden a set-up pool ø4m70. At home: an organic vegetable garden, fruit trees and chickens. In case of surplus, the owners share in the harvest. This cottage is equipped for 4 people. For 5/6 guests use the sofa bed on the mezzanine and a surcharge of €15/pers/day applies. Baby (in crib) and dogs (max.2) stay for free. Optional additional costs to be charged at the end of your stay, according to far/use: electricity over 60 kW/week: €0,30/kW. Stove wood €40/half cubic meter. Use of washing machine €5/wash. Towels €5/set.

This nature house is a nice place to enjoy the good life in Gascony, a region where fortunately mass tourism has not yet penetrated. There is a horse coaching practice with 4 ponies. A private coaching session is always possible, and in consultation a walk with the ponies. Here you have many authentic villages and beautiful views over the hilly countryside, also called French Tuscany. For lovers of peace and quiet, nature and hiking in alternation with culture, (evening) markets and festivals, this is an attractive and actually unique area. The locals are very friendly. But peace and quiet are not synonymous with boring! Possible activities in the immediate area include hiking, canoeing, e-bike rental, horseback riding, the Tepacap climbing park, tennis, swimming in several lakes (10 to 30 minutes drive), cycling. The cottage also offers an excellent base for trips to the Pyrenees (Lourdes, ski resorts, rafting) and the pleasant cities of Toulouse and Auch.
