This ruralhut is located beautifully quietly in the nature reserve De Maasduinen. It's a stylishly decorated holiday home for six to eight persons. In the comfortable living room, the central room of the house, it is always quite snug because of the wood stove and the cosy Aga range in the open kitchen. It is delightfully relaxing to cook on a cooker like this and this range contributes to the warm, rural atmosphere of the this ruralhut. There are three accommodating bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower. If the weather is good, you can blissfully relax on the sundeck, from which you have a view over the meadows and the spacious, closed-off garden where the children can play.
Nature and surroundings
The holiday home is situated in De Maasduinen National Park in Northern Limburg. This gently sloping forest and moorland area is located on a stretched sandy ridge between the river Maas and the German border. The park and its area are excellent spots for long walks and diverse bicycle and mountain bike routes, and there are extensive horse-riding routes too. There is a whopping number of seventeen walking routes, set out with marked poles. In the national park, you can also find the regional path “Maas-Niederrhein” and a local walking route network of over 200 kilometres.
