The nature house is located in a yard and is part of a Longère on the edge of a large oak forest. Also, the cottage is located in a protected area. On one side the forest with many lakes and on the other side an area with hedges and many small roads, where you can do good walking and cycling (mountain biking). On the grounds there is a swimming pool, the cottage has a private terrace and is spacious with an area of 67 m² . This cottage was completely renovated and renewed in 2011/2012 while retaining authentic elements. The cottage and its surroundings offer you everything you need to spend a quiet and carefree vacation. It is possible to rent bikes or use the hosts' table d'hôtes.
Nature and surroundings
The environment of this nature house offers you lots of peace, space and nature. The cottage is located in a protected area with hedges, many small roads and on the edge of the largest oak forest in Europe with many lakes and at two kilometers a nice recreational lake. On walks and bike rides you can encounter or hear deer (red deer), foxes, birds of prey and other birds (hoopoe). You can also hear the belling of the deer in the fall or spot the rare hoopoe in the spring and this only three hours from Paris. The rivers L'Allier and Cher are well worth visiting with all their natural beauty. There are nice markets/brocantes, beautiful castles and the beautiful historic cities of Bourges, Nevers and Moulins. These are all less than one hour away by car.
